AgentCarID

Development of the vehicle fleet and high-resolution forecast of driving and charging power requirements and load flexibility of electric cars

There are two models for predicting the development of e-mobility, which are linked to each other and are summarized under the name AgentCarID. The vehicle fleet model shows the annual development of the vehicle fleet according to a total cost of ownership (TCO) approach. The electricity and fuel costs including the CO2 price and the investment costs for the drive and fuel combination are taken into account during operation.

The second model, AgentCarCharge, creates high-resolution driving and charging profiles over time for various mobility groups, which are differentiated according to socio-economic and spatial typological criteria. The mobility groups allow the charging profiles to be assigned to specific households using geo-specific spatial data for local grid calculations or aggregated in order to determine the charging power requirements and flexibility potential for energy system optimizations with SCOPE.
