The Energy Informatics and Information Systems department deals with the integration of renewable energies within the energy system using methods, algorithms and systems from the fields of computer science and meteorology. This results in software systems that are tested as part of research projects and transferred to operation as part of industrial research. This is done in close cooperation with renowned national and international partners from industry and research.
As part of your dual study program, you will have the opportunity to acquire a broad range of IT skills. By being closely involved in daily processes and working on research projects, you will be able to apply the knowledge you have acquired directly and develop your skills in dealing with new tasks independently and under your own responsibility.
