The main objective of the master program for Wind Energy Systems is capacity building in the field of wind energy for research and industry. Methods and technology innovations will be developed in learning alliances with the industry within the framework of master theses and doctoral dissertations. Prospective target groups for the Master program are natural scientists and engineers. Our students are offered on-job training to complete a whole master program or individual specialization modules.

Course contents | Core topics include fundamentals of mathematics and engineering for wind energy, specializations in energy system technology, and simulation and structural technology, as well as additive key-competences (economy and law) |
How the course is organized | A total number of 120 credits must be achieved to complete the master program. This number is divided into basic modules (30 ECTS), two specialization areas and non-technical modules (60 ECTS) (Note: at least 30 ECTS must be selected in one of the specialization areas) and a Master-Thesis module (30 ECTS) |
Admission requirements | The minimum entry requirements are a Bachelor in relevant natural and engineering sciences and a 1-year work experience |
